The main character of the book is Danko, a very ordinary boy, whose life is full of adventures: he wanders the worlds of dreams, plays the lead role in an exciting film, travels by time machine into the future, and fights alien microbes. He learns to overcome the difficulties that children face every day, and faithful friends come to his aid. Danko understands that fear can be overcome only by ceasing to be afraid, and true courage is to help those who need it.
